Infamous for his birthday appearance on To Catch A Predator, Lorne Armstrong celebrated another birthday behind bars after a judge found that he had violated probation. In short, Armstrong was detained for noncompliance with his mandated sex offender class rules, which include orders to refrain from: drinking alcohol, using social media, and having contact with people whose ages were not verified.
Detained in August 2019, Armstrong recently received a sentence of six months and has been transferred to MDC Brooklyn to serve his time. Before this, Chris Hansen’s live stream Top Chat lit up with requests for updates on the prolific chatter who drove across state lines to meet his 13-year-old fiancee in Bowling Green, KY.
Chatters alleged that followers of Armstrong’s story have heard phone calls exhibiting his predatory behavior as recently as July 2019. His most recent love interest is described as being an 18-year-old woman with a history of abuse and cognitive delays. An interview request was sent to the woman about her relationship with the convicted sex offender, but was answered with a polite refusal and a request for her privacy to be respected.
Lorne Armstrong is due for release in 2020.
